The Villa, La Filanda, is a former silk factory, pieds dans l'eau on the western shore of Lake Como. It is located in Brienno, a small village of Celtic origin. It is an ancient silk spinning mill dating back to the 17th century, beautifully and carefully renovated and transformed into a modern and welcoming place.
The particular design of La Filanda is based on stone walls, vaulted ceilings and a succession of windows that offer a spectacular view of the lake. The property is spread over three floors for over 700m2. On the ground floor we find a large kitchen, dining room, double large living room, large tavern with wood-burning fireplace. From the long stone porch on the lake shore you access the garden of approx. 200 sqm. with swimming pool which leads to the private dock. The first floor consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and walk-in closet. On the second floor we find a 200 sqm. ballroom/loft with a beautiful lake view and 9 meter ceilings.
