This property is an old Majorcan possession located next to the Cabo Blanco Lighthouse with views of the sea and the island of Cabrera with a watchtower and bunker with access to the sea.
In 1575, with the visit to Mallorca of Don Juan of Austria, the construction of a defense tower against the alliance was discussed. From this tower that we find on the estate, defense tasks were carried out due to its strategic location in the south of Mallorca.
In 1940 the construction of a military barracks was carried out in the main military building that served as a dormitory for the army personnel, a dining room for the officers, kitchen, offices and various toilets and showers for the troops in a total of 470m2 built of the main construction and about 65m2 approx. of independent construction.
In addition to these buildings in the outer area we find a historic watchtower, an open-air dining room for the troops from where the Lluchmajor terminus, the sea and the Island of Cabrera can be seen.
Throughout the entire farm there are different buildings that served as lookout and military training.
The particularity of this farm is its meters of underground constructions or bunkers built of reinforced concrete inside the rock from where there are privileged views of the sea and the Island of Cabrera.
All military buildings are currently preserved in need of reform and are protected.
The recent approval of the new Tourism Law of the Balearic Islands approves hotel activities in existing military buildings on rustic land, provided that they preserve their heritage values.
