In Murcia, you will find a unique winery in the midst of 48 hectares of land, located 750 metres above sea level. This altitude is known throughout the world as ideal for growing quality grapes, and the mineral soil, once the bottom of the sea, has been compared in analyses to elite wine regions in Europe, such as Jerez de la Frontera and southern Burgundy.
The winery has won numerous international awards attesting to the exceptional quality of its wines. In addition, its strategic location just 129 kilometres from the seaport of Valencia, 340 kilometres from Madrid, and its proximity to the airports and beaches of Alicante and Murcia, facilitate the logistics and distribution of its products.
Water supply is crucial in viticulture, and here there is an artesian spring at a depth of 300 metres. The unique qualities of this pure water have been confirmed by countless analyses, backed up by its own 1 hectare water tank with a volume of 25,000 m3.
The irrigation system is state-of-the-art, with a dual system including drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation. In addition, the entire vineyard is fenced with a two-metre high fence, a rare feature in Spain but of great importance, as it provides security for the vineyard and prevents the entry of wild animals, thus guaranteeing grapes of the highest quality.
The vineyard not only produces grapes; it is also home to around 70 fruit trees, including figs, apricots, apples, pears, cherries, walnuts, plums and peaches, as well as 250/300 4 year old olive trees. The entire vineyard follows organic practices to ensure an exceptional and environmentally friendly wine.
The grape selection includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Merlot, Tempranillo and Monastrell, each bringing their unique character to the wines.
