While we admire the glittering windows of the most famous international Haute Couture Maisons, made even more enchanting by the soft light of the sunset, we arrive at the majestic entrance door of our building. Once we cross the threshold, we are welcomed by an elegant entrance hall with the characteristic features of Venetian palaces: checkered flooring in white and red marble, decorated wooden beams, wellhead and communal water door. Our penthouse can be easily reached thanks to the lift, a very rare plus in the historic center of Venice. We open the front door and the first impression is of an extremely warm and welcoming environment. In fact, the entire apartment has fine parquet flooring, as are the beams and entablatures that accompany us in every room of the house. Despite having the typical aspects of the attic, the heights and numerous windows make every room of the house extremely enjoyable. The main hall leads us to the panoramic terrace, from which our gaze can freely range from the Campanile of S. Marco, to the domes of the Salute up to the bell tower of S. Stefano. A second, more intimate environment leads us to reading and listening to our favorite music. There is also a very modern kitchen, which will fully satisfy cooking lovers. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, 2 master bathrooms with fine marble coverings, as well as the large master bedroom with an exclusive terrace in which to spend pleasant hours of well-deserved relaxation. The presence of septic tanks completes the equipment of the house. The elegance of the house and the context in which it is located make this solution an unmissable jewel for city lovers. The San Marco district, originally called Rivoalto from which also the name Rialto, is the original nucleus of the city. The heart of the district is made up of Piazza San Marco, which for almost a millennium was the political and judicial center of the Republic of Venice overlooked by the Palazzo Ducale, seat of Venetian political power since the 9th century, its first construction and the Basilica of San Marco, the Doge's private chapel until 1807. It is the only city space to which the name of Piazza is reserved, since in the rest of the city there are only campi, campielli, courtyards etc. Other important monuments in the Square are the Procuratie located in front of the Basilica and the Ducal Palace, seat of the legal power of the Serenissima; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs.
Other places of interest in the district are the La Fenice Theatre, the church of San Moisè which stands at the end of Calle Larga XXII Marzo and Palazzo Grassi, converted into a prestigious exhibition venue.
The island also belongs to the district of San Giorgio Maggiore, where the Palladian basilica of the same name and the Giorgio Cini foundation are located
