In the splendid setting of the Lariano Triangle, at the base of the promontory that divides the lake into the Como and Lecco branches, Bellagio is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious and fascinating addresses in northern Italy. Particular features: on one side the historic center which is characterized by its paved alleys with an ancient flavour, on the other the lakeside which, together with the Gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eril, represents a "backdrop" of great effect, from dawn at sunset. A few steps from the pedestrian area, more precisely in the hamlet of Aureggio, the show continues inside an ancient and prestigious residence where for more than 500 square meters you can breathe the scent of history with unprecedented glimpses of the lake and a magnificent view of the mountains . The foyer immediately immerses us in a unique, timeless atmosphere, anticipating the leitmotif of the entire solution which still "jealously" preserves the architectural details of the time intact. The ground floor is a hymn to the convivium to use the Latin words: the living room, the dining room and the kitchen interact pleasantly with each other through a skilful use of spaces. The undisputed protagonists are the high ceilings and the numerous windows which give the rooms splendid natural light. A proud stone staircase, accompanied by large windows, leads to the second act, the main floor, where there are two master suites: the jewel in the crown is the balcony directly overlooking the picturesque 17th century church of San Carlo Borromeo. Moving to the attic, the architecture of the building rewards the intimacy of the rooms that house the third suite and the traditional attic which has all the potential of a boudoir where you can retreat in the company of a good book. The internal surface is completed by two salles de bains as well as a guesthouse with independent entrance, ideal as a hobby room. Outside, however, we are surprised by the most beautiful shades of green: the lush Canadian vine, which embraces the facade, raises the curtain on a beautiful surrounding garden embellished with centuries-old plants and suggestive corners, ready to also accommodate a swimming pool and places private cars. Last but not least, in the back there is even a lovely vegetable garden which evokes the bucolic soul of these places. The property is currently in a good state of conservation, however, with a view to internal subdivision, a customization intervention would be necessary to maximize the efficiency of the generous size without compromising its authentic lustre.
