Casale Romantic is a refined and exclusive country house with a beautiful garden and a 10x5m swimming pool. It is located just 7 km from Città della Pieve, a beautiful town in Umbria, famous for its medieval charm, narrow cobbled streets and breathtaking views.
The property dates back to the mid-18th century and has been restored using typical materials, thus maintaining the original style of the period. It is divided into 2 communicating flats and has 3 floors. From the terrace on the top floor and from the large windows you can admire a 360° panorama of the Umbrian countryside.
The casale consists of:
- A first flat, with direct exit to the garden, where there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom/study, a bathroom, a large storage room/laundry room with washing machine and freezer on the ground floor. On the middle floor, there is a living room with a TV and fireplace, 1 bathroom with a large shower and a kitchen with a wood-burning stove. From the covered terrace, there is access via a small staircase to the pergola in the garden with a barbecue work area and sink. Finally, on the top floor, there is a delightful mansard with two double bedrooms and a large bathroom with a bath. The cellar underneath the cave is to be restored.
- A second flat on two floors with the possibility of a connection to the first and which has inside: a very large living room, an open kitchen with pantry and a bathroom with tub on the ground floor; on the first floor there are two bedrooms, a dressing room, a cloakroom and a bathroom with shower. Below the flat is a cellar/storage room. The fantastic veranda with mobile glazing will give you the impression of being outside and overlooking the garden. State of repair
The country house has been finely restored using typical, reclaimed and bio-ecological materials. The restoration brought back an old farmhouse while maintaining the character of the 18th century buildings.
Externally, it presents masonry and stone with parts in neutral plaster that fit in well with the context and in full respect of the rural structure of the building. Floors, slabs and ceilings, structurally reinforced, were restored between 2002 and 2009, preserving wooden beams, terracotta tiles and vaults. Ventilated roof and earthquake-proof structure.
Utilities
All the necessary utilities are present. The farmhouse is supplied with electricity, and water from a 70 m deep well with an underground tank for water supply and irrigation.
