Liguria Region – Province of Genoa.
The Castle stands on a rocky edge surrounded by the Vobbia stream which flows into the Scrivia, from which the Valley takes its name.
This manor, built between the 12th and 14th centuries, has a square plan, with two circular watchtowers.
A Court, beyond the threshold of the main entrance, protected by surrounding walls, rectangular, with herringbone brick flooring, leads us to both the ground floor and the Loggia via a large staircase.
The Loggia is a very suggestive external / internal environment that leads us to the Hall of Frescoes, 1st floor, where you have access to 3 communicating lounges on the same floor.
The floors are all in slate with the white marble tozzetto, typical of Genoa.
The ceiling of the hall is unique and particular, a starred Chinese blue background with icons of the characters of the Spinola Family, original owners of the Castle.
Other frescoes can be admired in the adjacent living rooms. Through a door you access the landing where there is a small bathroom with shower cabin. There are, continuing two internal staircases, one that leads to the ground floor and another that takes us to the 2nd floor where a large rustic wooden living room with a large fireplace opens before our eyes, LED spotlights illuminate and make this room particularly suggestive and welcoming.
On both sides of the living room you have access to two double bedrooms with their own bathroom with shower cabin. Each bedroom is equipped with a built-in wardrobe, mini bar and remote-controlled stem fan.
Two more bedrooms are located on the same floor, in the neighboring area, as well as a bathroom, 70s style with a built-in bathtub
On this floor we have access to the two towers through two small terraces. The towers are equipped with 3 windows.
On the 2nd floor we have 3 bathrooms, going down we find the 4th bathroom and going down again to the ground floor we find the 5th guest bathroom, adjacent to the boiler room. The boiler was installed in 2011, it is pellet powered and has a tank for producing hot water.
Along the corridor, before entering the living room we find the laundry, ironing room and wardrobe.
From the ground floor entrance you have access to the Armoury hall.
This floor has two different levels, the hall is lower than the two lateral parts of the floor itself. On our right we have the kitchen and office area with entrance for the staff. On the left we have a small living room where, through a second entrance you access the Gazebo garden with the fountain and a large pine tree. Then following the beole path you find yourself in the main garden. Externally you can see new generation spotlights that, through a pocket remote control, illuminate the entire perimeter of the Castle. Furthermore, there are street lamps in the garden in front of the Castle and street lamps in the parking area. Two driveway entrances serve the property.
