Liguria Region – Province of Genoa. The Castle stands on a rocky edge surrounded by the Vobbia stream which flows into the Scrivia, from which the Valley takes its name. This manor, built between the 12th and 14th centuries, has a square plan, with two circular watchtowers. A courtyard, beyond the threshold of the main entrance, protected by surrounding walls, rectangular, with herringbone brick paving, introduces us to both the ground floor and the Loggia via a large staircase. The Loggia is a very suggestive external/internal environment that introduces us to the Fresco Hall, 1st floor, where you have access to 3 communicating living rooms on the same floor. The floors are all in slate with the typical Genoese white marble top. The ceiling of the hall is unique and particular, a starry China blue background with icons of the characters of the Spinola Family, original owners of the Castle. Other frescoes can be admired in the adjacent living rooms. A door leads to the landing where there is a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Continuing, there are two internal staircases, one that leads to the ground floor and another that takes us to the 2nd floor where a large rustic wooden living room with a large fireplace opens up to our eyes, LED spotlights illuminate and make this room particularly evocative. It is cozy. On both sides of the living room you have access to two double bedrooms with their own bathroom with shower cabin. Each room is equipped with a built-in wardrobe, mini bar and remote-controlled floor fan. Two other bedrooms are located on the same floor, in the neighboring area, as is a 70s style bathroom with built-in bathtub. On this floor we have access to the two towers through two small terraces. The towers have 3 windows. On the 2nd floor we have 3 bathrooms, going down we find the 4th bathroom and going down again to the ground floor we find the 5th guest bathroom, adjacent to the boiler room. The boiler was installed in 2011, runs on pellets and has a tank for the production of hot water. Along the corridor, before entering the living room we find the laundry, ironing room and cloakroom. From the ground floor entrance you have access to the Armor room. This floor has two different levels, the lounge remains lower than the two lateral parts of the floor itself. On our right we have the kitchen and office area with entrance for the staff. On the left we have a small living room where, through a second entrance, you access the Gazebo garden with the fountain and a large pine tree. Then following the gneiss path you find yourself in the main garden. Externally you can see new generation spotlights which, via a pocket remote control, illuminate the entire perimeter of the Castle. Furthermore there are street lamps in the garden in front of the Castle and street lamps in the parking area. Two driveway entrances serve the property.
