Versilia had its golden age between the 60s and 70s of the 20th century, in full economic boom, a summer holiday destination for entrepreneurs in northern Italy. Numerous clubs and bathing establishments born in that period. National and international singers and bands could not fail to perform at least once at the "Capannina" or at the "Bussola" attracting throngs of fans and people of the international jet-set. Today Versilia seems to have acquired a new identity, a destination for those who love the tranquillity of the golden sandy beaches and who use the coastal towns to increase contacts and knowledge. Versilia has a coastal front of about 25 km, bordered to the north by the chain of the Apuan Alps, the treasure trove of the famous Carrara marble. The beaches, consisting of a wide strip of golden sand, and beyond the pine forests that offer coolness on summer days, as well as conveniently concealing the numerous villas.
Description
The villa is located in the northernmost part of Versilia, in a point free from other houses and where the pine forest is more luxuriant. An independent villa that rises majestically, towering above the bushes that delimit its boundary.
On the ground floor there is the living area where it is possible to live, hosting friends. The entrance is large with a beautiful tiled stove, on the right a large living room, at the back the party room or dining room, while on the left a guest bathroom and the majestic staircase leading to the first floor. Beyond the party room is the kitchen with a large, perfectly equipped central island. In addition to the kitchen, a double bedroom with attached bathroom, a large laundry room and a small apartment complete with bedroom, bathroom, living room with kitchenette, perfect for a couple of caretakers, thanks also to the independent entrance, directly from the outside.
The access staircase to the upper floors, where we find the sleeping area, is one of the examples of the particularity of the house, conveying in the center the light coming from decorated crystal pyramid that illuminates the spaces below and the marble staircase, embellished by a sober and refined iron handrail.
The central hallway on the first floor divides the various rooms for greater privacy. On one side, the master part with bedroom, walk-in closet and large bathroom. Than two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom, another bedroom with bathroom and large covered terrace overlooking the sea. Another small part consists of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a further sleeping area consists of a bedroom, a sitting room and the covered roof terrace from which you can enjoy the view of the underlying garden and the sea a few meters away.
The second floor is accessed via a comfortable wooden staircase, the attic is very high and allows you to take full advantage of this last level as well. In the center, a hallway that has a porthole of light in the center consisting of a coloured glass dome.
