Orvieto - Poggio Montone. We are pleased to handle the sale of a spectacular Borgo Fattoria immersed in the greenery of its private park, with a truffle vocation. It consists of no less than 55 hectares, 31 of which are arable land, irrigated by the property's small lake, and 21 hectares of woodland with tall trees. The property consists of a large manor house surrounded by farm buildings used as dwellings for the farmers, warehousemen, workers, carpenters and their families. Built in 1873, based on a design by architect Paolo Zampi, Poggio Montone was one of the first farms in Italy to breed pure English blood horses for gallop racing (Scuderia Bertone).
