Territory:
Sirmione is an Italian municipality of over eight thousand inhabitants, literally set in Lake Garda. From an administrative point of view, it is located in the region of Lombardy and, more precisely, in the province of Brescia. A large part of Sirmione's historic centre extends over the peninsula of the same name, for a length of over four kilometres, leaving the visitor pleasantly suspended, almost floating, in Italy's largest lake. On the opposite side, however, the municipality extends towards the morainic hills, in a soft and very green landscape, further softened by the presence of ancient vines that have long produced Lugana, an excellent wine that has now been awarded the Denominazione di Origine Controllata label.
