We proceed from the sunny Campo SS. John and Paul, leaving on our left the Church, considered the Pantheon of Venice, as numerous doges of the Serenissima are buried there, and the extraordinary façade of the Scuola Grande di S. Marco which nowadays acts as an access portal to the Civil Hospital, to reach a couple of minutes to our destination.
The apartment, renovated at the beginning of the 2000s, occupies the entire second and third floor of a building with only two residential units, which in its current form dates back to the 1930s. As soon as we cross the entrance threshold we are greeted by a large condominium entrance hall from which we access the relevant warehouse, also perfectly renovated and equipped with two windows. Going up to the second floor and entering our apartment what immediately strikes us are the typically Venetian characteristics of the wooden beams on the ceiling and the terrazzo floors. The spaces of the living area are large and flooded with light that filters through the numerous windows present in every room and the views from the kitchen and the master bedroom towards the well-kept garden below are equally pleasant; This floor is completed by the main bathroom and the service bathroom which is accessed from a super-equipped wardrobe room. On the upper floor, completely attic, there is an open space guest room but above all access to the splendid planted terrace of almost 30 m2 with a view of the dome of SS. Giovanni e Paolo and on the bell tower of S. Francesco. A true oasis of peace in which to relax, sunbathe and read a book or host friends for unforgettable aperitifs and dinners under the starlight. The Castello district, the largest and among the oldest in Venice, is located at the far east of the city. One of the most populous neighborhoods of the city has always kept the traditional "Venetian lifestyle" intact. Among the numerous monuments and works of art we cannot fail to mention the Arsenal, for centuries the cradle of the power of the Serenissima, the Basilica of SS Giovanni e Paolo, one of the most loved by the Venetians, of S. Francesco in Vigna, of S. Maria Formosa.
