This marvelous villa, located in the renowned residential context of Arenzano's Pineta, was entirely designed by the well-known architect, urban planner and designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni, whose rationalism oriented towards well-building and the concept of durability, and eclecticism we find in the purpose of the work: solidity, durability, elegance.
The sober and minimal yet absolutely innovative lines, the sense of measure and the rare as well as perfect formal balance merge elegantly in the sinuous and curved lines of the ceilings, and in the circular matrices that return in almost every room of this splendid property.
Access to the villa through a private gate leads to the entrance hall with checkroom, which opens symmetrically with an enchanting view of the garden and the spacious living room, with large windows overlooking the greenery. Next to it we find a study area with design details, the dining room overlooking the porch terrace and the wonderful outdoor dining area, the large office with custom-made closets and the kitchen, also open to the outdoor space and the barbecue area.
On the opposite side of the entrance is the sleeping area: a large hallway with built-in closets leads to a first master suite with a half bath, two other double bedrooms each currently used with two single beds, and a second bathroom.
Going up a few steps of an enchanting semi-circular staircase, a hallmark of Caccia Dominioni's style, you enter a room with a splendid private terrace overlooking the sea, which leads directly to the garden.
Descending the stairs instead leads to the beautiful master-bedroom, which enjoys absolute privacy from the rest of the house. The bed is placed in a dedicated area with a domed ceiling and a window designed ah hoc to be able to admire the sea even while lying down. The other two windows in the room, one next to the reading area and the other accessing the garden, both enjoy lovely views of the greenery and the sea.
Completing the master suite is a walk-in closet lined with charming period upholstery and a windowed bathroom with tub.
From the main floor office there is access via a short internal staircase to the lower level, which houses a charming wine cellar with sand cells perfect for the finest wines, a large cold room, an additional room with laundry area, a windowed bathroom with bathtub and the garage area, with work table and double storage room.
The outdoor space alternates green areas with porticoed and paved areas: there is a wood-burning oven, the barbecue area and a covered area with a large outdoor table to host convivial moments, surrounded by the large lush garden immersed in total privacy, overlooking the sea.
The roof, which fully expresses the architect's flair and creative genius by transferring to the outside the scenic movements of the ceilings of the main floor, becomes in this villa an enjoyable space, also suitable for dinners and convivial moments overlooking the sea and the coast.
