The property is located in a slightly elevated and quiet position with easy access and close to Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino. Originally, in 14th century, it was a convent with its own chapel, transformed later into a typical farmhouse with stables on the ground floor and living quarters on the first. In the beginning of this century the building was totally restored with replacement of the roof, floors, and installations. In spite of all these works the place maintained its charm and character, typical for old Tuscan homes. At the same time, it has all the modern commodities.

Floors are in terracotta tiles and chestnut tree wood, ceilings have exposed chestnut beams, doors and windows are in solid wood. These elements together with fireplaces and other typical architectural details create comfortable and welcoming interiors.
The property also has a guest house with bedroom, bathroom and sitting room with kitchenette. Also, in this case the interiors have been restored with care and good taste.
A large shed used for wood storage, bread oven and barbecue with attached former pigsty complete the property.
A 12x4 metres swimming pool has been constructed in one of the most beautiful spots of the garden with palms, and other exotic plants from all over the world. This part of the property, which seems to be a botanical garden, is fenced. The rest of 5 hectares of land is composed by recently planted woods, arable land, and olive grove wit 70 trees. An important alley leads from the automatic entrance gate to the house.
There is a new 90 metres deep water well apart from an old stone well. Heating runs on pellets and LPG.
It is a beautiful and attractive property immersed in vegetation but close to service and easily accessed. The house and the garden have always been well maintained by the owners and do not require restoration works, although they do not lack the original character as often happens with properties recently constructed or restored.
