One of the great talents was certainly Jacques Couelle, before even architect, great artist of form. He gave a very strong imprint to the construction of the coast by inventing solutions so particular to become representative elements of the area.
Later his son Savin continued his work, bringing simply amazing sculpture houses to the market.
The villa immortalized here is the work of the latter: a house with plastic lines in which creativity ranges drawing niches, stairs and games of volumes on which small terraces climb.
The spaces seem to want to embrace those who inhabit them, inviting them to serenity.
Located in 4000 square meters of Mediterranean vegetation, it seems to be born from the ground and end up in it, not only for the plants that cover almost entirely the facade, but also for the materials and granite that is found on the structure of the building, inside and in the form of rocks along the pool.
It is a home to live between the interior and the exterior, thanks to two important verandas that, built on the extreme sides, allow you to have lunch always protected from the wind.
The living room looks like a white cave, the interior of a shell in which the volumes slide on several floors revealing rooms.
A large white sofa follows the contour of the living room, dominated by wavy walls and large windows with indefinite shapes.
A little further on the sleeping area consists of several rooms that gather around a central pin moving on various heights in a fun game of stairs and niches.
