Once you have crossed the long tree-lined avenue leading to Villa Artom, you immediately enter a fascinating world, permeated with history, almost fairytale-like, which conveys sensations of peace, serenity and extreme beauty that recall the elegance of the buildings of the 1700s. Precisely in that period , became the residence of one of the most famous families of that Italian historical period: the Artom family, a family of Jewish origins who contributed a lot to the historical development of Piedmont, of the nation and even of scientific discoveries. Isacco Artom, contributed to the unification of Italy, together with Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, was ambassador and minister for the negotiations of the Peace of Vienna in 1866, prevented the entry of Franz Joseph into Rome, revealing himself to be the true architect of the "Breach on Rome". Alessandro also lived there, the best known of all the Artoms, inventor of the radio direction finder as well as countless patents, donated to the State. Its directional radio antennas are today the basis of telecommunications, radio and television, maritime, aerospace, radio astronomy and radar astronomy systems. It is therefore a villa of great inspiration, of creativity, which has transmitted unique, special sensations to the people who have lived there and to its guests, which have generated great things. The property also stands on a hill that was rich in historical excellences, who lived in that area, such as the Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini and the painter Giuseppe Manzone.
