Villa Divisa is located near the historic center of Caltagirone, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Catania which reflects the cultural and artistic charm of the eighteenth century Baroque. The peculiarity of this place, a UNESCO heritage site since 2002, is represented by the colorful ceramics that enrich the public spaces, offering its guests a rich stylistic variety. The nineteenth-century property, typical of the Sicilian aristocracy, extends over approximately 2 hectares of land and features a majestic manor house, an outbuilding and a lush Italian garden. The main villa, ENTIRELY TO BE RENOVATED, is spread over three levels, and is equipped with a small service mezzanine. The aspect that unites each area of the villa is the brightness that reaches it, thanks to the balconies and large windows that characterize it. The large and ancient door on the ground floor allows access to the area which was originally intended for the parking of carriages, and which today houses a large room from which you reach the other rooms. The first floor houses the Party Hall, a large triple room which stands out for its walls and ceilings, adorned with fine decorations, as well as its flooring with period majolica. On the second floor we find the kitchen, the dining room and other study rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. Behind the Villa lies the magnificent garden, enriched with ornamental plants and a monumental fountain. Along a long tree-lined avenue, among the remains of ancient columns, there is an area originally dedicated to refreshment with a table and stone benches. The annex, once intended for the homes of the service staff, is now used by the caretaker of the villa and needs to be completely renovated.
