Historic farmhouse and splendid farmhouse with sea view, located in a privileged position, between the hill and the sea, a few kilometers from Fasano and Savelletri and the hills of the Itria Valley, in Contrada Conca d'oroMasseria Notarangelo, in its current configuration , dating back to 1800, is the result of the progressive and harmonious addition of various buildings. The oldest parts of the complex date back to 1600.
The Masseria has all the internal rooms with star or barrel vaults and retains the original floors in many rooms.
The farmhouse complex is in excellent structural conditions and stands, in a single and articulated two-level building, on the ancient and original local stone pavement that delimits the square.
The main facade of the Masseria is characterized by almond-shaped balustrades and is embellished by the presence of a bell tower.
On the ground floor, on the side that extends towards the east, there is a chapel whose entrance is decorated with a beautiful baroque stone portal, with an inflected arch and oculus, surmounted by a sculpted noble coat of arms. In the chapel, which has star vaults, the altar is decorated with a statue of the Madonna and Child, on whose sides are placed the stone statues of Sant'Antonio da Padova and San Domenico (18th century), sculpted by local artists .
The ground floor, which has a surface area of approximately 523 square metres, hosts various rooms, all perfectly preserved and which are structured around two side courtyards. These rooms, some equipped with fireplaces, were once used as peasant homes, warehouses, stables and mangers. In particular, a large room, surmounted by four star vaults, housed the large epigean oil mill of the farm, whose imposing stone mill is today located near the entrance to the property, as evidence of the ancient oil production. A comfortable staircase with two flights, it leads to the first floor where the master apartment is located, which, recently renovated, retains the original distribution of the internal spaces and, in many rooms, the original finishing materials.
The main apartment, of approximately 222 m2, is divided into a large room, a living room with fireplace, a dining room with large fireplace, kitchen, guest bathroom, single bedroom, two large bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. The surrounding land the property extends for 43,000 m2 and is entirely delimited by typical dry stone walls; there are centuries-old olive and carob trees, as well as various fruit trees.
The structure of the farm is in excellent condition and requires a restyling of the ground floor to adapt the systems and spaces to the needs of contemporary life; the first floor is equipped with a heating system and air conditioners.
It is possible to build a swimming pool.
