The Royal Villa of Lerici (Golfo dei Poeti)
The Royal Villa, built in the late 1970s, stands on the top of a gentle hill above the village of Lerici and is surrounded by the typical Mediterranean scrub. The splendid Villa enjoys a magnificent panorama over the entire Gulf of Poets from the bay of Lerici to the islands that frame the Gulf, to Portovenere to the south-west and, to the east, the view extends towards the Sarzana basin and the Apuan Alps.
Floors of hand-painted Vietri ceramics, wrought iron balustrades and lampposts from Barcelona, an exciting view and large internal and external spaces are just some of the characteristics of this beautiful residence.
The Villa consists of a ground floor and first floor , plus flat roof terrace with service apartment in the attic; in addition, the cellars, rumpus room and garage are located in the basement.
The two floors of the house are divided into two separate apartments and connected by a practical internal lift, which breaks down architectural barriers starting from the garage.
The floor land, approx. 200 m2 comprises entrance hall, large living room with wardrobe, large double bedroom, living room with cooking area and dining area, large room in a corner position with four panoramic French windows, bathroom.
From an internal marble staircase Botticino leads to the first floor, of about 245 m2, consisting of a large entrance hall, study with balcony, large double bedroom with stucco decorations and balcony, eat-in kitchen with direct access to the rear part of the park, 85 m2 living room with dining area, bar and conversation area, long panoramic terrace and garden at floor level. The floor is completed by a small sitting room-study (furnished like a Tyrolean stube!), a bathroom, a bathroom with shower and a small wardrobe space.
Through the garden and an external staircase one reaches the large flat roof terrace and a attic consisting of a spacious central room (which can be used as a service or hobby room) and two small rooms which house the lift motor and a small bathroom.
The Villa is surrounded by large surfaces paved in Dutch stone, which invite you to "inhabit" the garden and which allow easy access to all levels of the park and make the various levels of the same independent.
The park, of about 1000 square meters, includes in the upstream part, a to a comfortable staircase ending with a paved rotunda, in the summer it allows a cool and pleasant usability... like a real cool and refreshment place from the summer heat.
At street level, a garage was built with two convenient parking spaces.
The lift serves all floors of the villa.
