In the heart of Valpolicella, in a dominant position over the entire valley, is located the important and historic real estate complex consisting of a Villa and surrounding areas. The exclusive property, in an excellent state of conservation, was designed by the Veronese architect Luigi Trezza, in 1790 and completed in 1792, built on previous buildings. One of the entrances to the Villa is through a beautiful tuff portal which leads into an airy six-pillared portico from which you have an excellent view of the garden facing the facade of the villa.
It is made up of a single block that forms the main building; it is divided into three floors with three rows of windows arranged in a constant rhythm.
On the main floor the windows are enriched by curved triangular pediments, at the top of the centre, imposing, sharp and aseptic, the triangular pediment emerges.
The interior of the The villa appears organized from a distribution point of view on the model of the typical Venetian Villa, with the rooms gathered around two superimposed central rooms, connected to each other by a three-flight staircase adorned with statues of cherubs, which can be accessed only after having passed two iconic columns detached from the walls. Enveloping the path on the staircase we find pictorial decorations, attributed to Francesco Lorenzi, in Empire style with architectural quadratures of classical buildings with landscape views of ancient ruins; these frescoes also continue in the hall on the upper floor.
The attached rustic buildings, also renovated and in an excellent state of conservation, arranged laterally and in front of the main body, lend themselves to various uses, creating an added value of certain interest also in the case of events or hospitality activities:
they result from a connection between the Villa and the park, as right in the middle of the building, there is an ancient stone staircase that leads directly to the park and to the two cellars located in the 'building itself.
From the large well-kept garden on the front of the Villa you can access a characteristic lake overlooking a conifer grove and a small orchard, surrounded by mighty stone walls that flank the road to Marano, for a total of approximately one hectare of land in exclusive ownership. The marvelous cellars undoubtedly deserve a special mention, which is accessed by a historic tuff staircase, a natural place of production of wine and spirits as well as the true beating heart of the estate, used also used by the "Gentlemen" for convivial meetings with their guests.
Greatly charming solution, one of a kind, suitable both as a multi-family residence and for activities in the tourism sector.
