The Villa is a historical jewel, already chosen by the Etruscans, as a dwelling between the Valdichiana and the Val d'Orcia. The building then had its maximum splendor in the 19th century and today it has been perfectly restored immersed in a large uncontaminated park.
The rooms and bedrooms are finely frescoed and magically preserved and enjoy a view of Montepulciano, in the enchantment of an incredible panorama that extends to Lake Trasimeno until it reaches the Apennines on the horizon.
On the ground floor of the villa there is a large living room and a large room where frescoes in which scenes from the Napoleonic campaigns and the "Tarugi" family crest have been recovered in their historical original beauty. villa and the emotional closeness to the great leader on the part of a noble sister "Tarugi". Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom with bathroom and independent entrance from the garden. All the furnishings are typical of the villa with the colors of the time, the lace, the pictures of flowers, still the old grit of the floors make it particularly suggestive.
A large stone staircase leads to the first floor, enclosed by marbled arches and flooded with light from the garden that spreads from the mezzanine windows. Here we find a room completely frescoed and finely furnished and has its own space, the entrance corridor is separated from the other rooms by an ancient gate, thus granting intimacy and privacy, the bathroom has kept the elements of the early twentieth century, the ceramics were the furnishings "Comfortable Places" intended for people of a certain social stature. The view of the garden and the old stables make it pleasantly quiet.
The richly decorated corridor leads to two other finely frescoed rooms.
A suite with living room and fireplace that retains a unique flavor, from the windows you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Montepulciano seems to be touched but the view extends down to the Valdichiana and the Apennine chain, San Biagio and Montefollonico on the left, between rows of centuries-old cypress trees with a countryside planted with vines and olive trees and rich in history.
Another room, truly of other times, has a large bathtub inside and the bathroom enclosed in a Tromp l'oeil, as was used in ancient times, make it particularly suggestive and the ceiling fresco inspired by musical motifs complete the picture.
Climbing further you arrive at the second floor from which you can truly enjoy a unique panorama, five rooms always finely furnished with a spectacular view.
Adjacent to the Villa, both the stables and two further annexes have been well restored, which are welcoming apartments with living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
In the large park, finely cared for with gazebos, flowers and paths, there is the ancient church, consecrated and officiated, dedicated to the Virgin who was a reference for the countryside and an object of great devotion.
