Poggio San Nicola is an agriturismo nestled in the countryside of the Cilento National Park, just minutes from the sea of the Gulf of Policastro. Poggio San Nicola is about two hours' drive from the international airport of Naples.
The farmhouse is located in the municipality of Tortorella, an ancient medieval village perched 700 metres above sea level, where there are beautiful natural oases, including the WWF Grotte del Bussento Oasis.
The farmhouse has belonged to the same family for four generations and has undergone some structural work. The latest works, which restored the farmhouse to its former glory, were completed in 2006.
The property retains the characteristics of a farmhouse and has a surface area of 500 square metres. The property consists of 3 residential units.
The north wing is divided into 2 flats, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The flats have a kitchenette, two bedrooms, a study and two bathrooms. The flat on the first floor has a living room with a fireplace and a panoramic terrace. The ground floor flat overlooks the furnished courtyard.
The south wing consists of a single unit with a living area on the ground floor overlooking the garden, a large living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a bedroom, a pantry and a bathroom. From the living room an elegant wooden staircase leads to the first floor with 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a large laundry room. From all rooms you can enjoy the surrounding landscape
To complete the property there is a technical room built in perfect harmony with the farmhouse, a large courtyard of 400sqm surrounding the property, 1500sqm used as an orchard, a wonderful place to relax with a panoramic swimming pool and a large solarium surrounded by greenery of about 500sqm
