The property can be easily reached from the airport of Pisa, 211 km, time 2 hours and 15 minutes (highway Florence Sea A11 - Autostrada A1 exit at Bettolle - road); the airport of Rome-Fiumicino, 232 km, time 2 hours and 22 minutes (A1 - exit at Bettolle road).
Buildings' description
The farmhouse, of about 300 square meters, is developed on two levels. On the ground floor the old stable that still preserves the ancient mangers, and where the locals produced and kept the wine, now is used as warehouses, but already predisposed as part of the house. On the first floor, accessible by original staircase in travertine, we can find 3 large double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with Tuscan fireplace, kitchen-dining room, attic and porch. Entering to the building with access from the square, there is the wood-burning oven and near the old well-cistern. Adjacent to the main building is a partially renovated outbuilding that could be used as a dwelling of a guardian.
Outside spaces
A few meters from the house there is a swimming pool 6x12 meters large, covered in mosaic of Bisazza and edge travertine ashlar. The property comprises approximately six hectares of land which includes a rich cultivation of olive trees, wheat fields and woods with old trees.
State and finishes
The local stone has been used for the construction of the house and of the many stone walls. The entire structure was carried renovated to maintain the existing masonry; therefore, the ceilings have wooden beams and original bricks, handcrafted terracotta floors (wood-burning furnace) the type endeavored by the Superintendency for the restoration of historical monuments, with great visual effect. The property is served by city water supply, electricity and heating with natural gas.
