The property occupies its own hill of approximately 2 hectares and fits organically into its landscape with 4 distinct exterior areas: the villa and staff lodges on the main ridge with immaculate surrounding terraces, lawns and charming belvedere, a shaded wooded area on the valley side, and as we descend the hill from the front of the villa, a vast entertaining terrace with swimming pool and facilities. Finally on a lower level we find the agricultural area of the property; a modern stable block with summer kitchen and terrace overlooking the orchard and vegetable garden.
INTERIORS
The main villa was designed as 2 geometric spaces on 2 levels that take in the view. The ground floor is the matrix and main living area, a square with rooms on four sides surrounding a central courtyard with stunning master suite in separate wing. The L-shaped upper floor is the main bedroom area, opening onto a spectacular south facing roof terrace. Both floors are connected by 3 separate staircases. Steps from the front lawn curve down the hill to a large panoramic and sun-trapped terrace. The recently refurbished swimming pool has a shallow sunbathing area, as well as air and idro-massage jets. There is a shaded dining area with outdoor kitchen (under the belvedere) as well as indoor changing facilities with sauna, bathroom and treatment room. An outdoor sound system creates a wonderful atmosphere during sundowners or big parties with an evening view of the mountains that continues to take our breath away.
