CASAS DE SOL is the result of a project by the architect Ricardo Vieira de Melo, a university professor of architecture in Porto since 1993, distinguished with several national and international awards.
Casas de Sol organizes a family neighbourhood in a total of 15 villas, distributed by the typologies T3+1, T4 and T4+1, in a privileged area, close to the city center of Aveiro and the extension of the new channel of the estuary to the north.
The beaches of Barra and Costa Nova are just a 10-minute drive away.
The project was inspired by natural environments in a return to the family home, where natural and comfortable materials are applied. The use of wood, stone, concrete, white brick and zinc cover the exterior, inside we will have stone, wood and pastel colors, promoting a healthy and appealing habitation.
The orientation of the houses is directed in such a way as to obtain the best use of sunlight and take advantage of the outdoor garden spaces.
The traditional houses are arranged on two floors, with living rooms and kitchens on the ground floor facing the patio and west. Also on this floor, they have a suite and double garage.
With a patio to the west, the house favors the relationship of the large common spaces with the outside.
