The Quinta de Brunhais is located in the Place of Alto de Leiradela, in Brunhais, in the Union of Parishes of Esperança and Brunhais), in the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, District of Braga. The Quinta de Brunhais is a typically Minho property, with a total area of about 9,500 m2, where there is a house with an implantation area of 258 m2, 2 floors, and a construction area of 546 m2. Located on the Alto de Leiradela de Brunhais, at an altitude of about 340 m, on the slope of Monte do Castro, the property has an unobstructed and stunning view over the south bank of the Ave River and over the Marouço (Serra de Fafe Basto). It is located in a rural area, with green fields planted with vineyards, vegetable gardens, and grazing animals, very quiet. The property has a water spring. The house is a typical wealthy Minho farmer's house, with structural granite walls. It has a portal where the date of 1743 is engraved, the date on which it is thought that the original house was enlarged to its current dimensions. It has an interior patio, two floors of housing, and, at a lower level, a threshing floor (interior and exterior). The property also has an outdoor swimming pool, a spring that flows into a granite tank, olive trees, fruit trees, holly, and oaks. At this time, the property can be used as a Single Family Dwelling (as it is) or as a Tourist Enterprise (project under approval).
