This exhibition at the Cartier Foundation highlights the work of Malick Sidibé, a Malian photographer born in 1935 to a Fulani family in Soloba, south of Bamako. Comprised of over 250 photographs illustrating his career, the exhibition devotes a large part to Bamako evenings during which the photographer forged his reputation as a “reporter of youth”.
