ASTON MARTIN DBS 770 ULTIMATE
A model marking the end of a generation with real panache. Faster, more muscular and powerful than previous models, the DBS 770 Ultimate has had its transmission, steering, suspension, structure and driving experience truly improved.
This fireball offers flowing lines and an aerodynamic silhouette. 770 hp throb beneath the hood thanks to a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine attaining a top speed of 340 km/h and 0-100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds. Its automatic 8-speed ZF gearbox is the promise of smooth gear shifts and fluid driving.
While the DBS 770 Ultimate offers more power, it nevertheless remains controlled thanks to a rigid chassis, double wishbone front suspension, a multilink rear axle of optimal geometry, and enhanced stability. With a weight of 1,945 kg, yet unique braking power with carbon-ceramic brakes. “We have injected more power, more purity, higher performance into the DBS 770 Ultimate,” says Design Director Marek Reichman.
“All accompanied by more sophistication, more class and more reflection. (...) We designed the body starting with an amplified front. The rest followed in harmony, fashioned by the model’s technical prowess.” The muscular exterior recalls car-racing.
The lateral body and underbody in carbon fibre, horseshoe-shaped bonnet, front air intake and rear diffuser convey the power of this model borrowing inspiration from the perfect design of a honeycomb. Inside, luxury goes hand-in-hand with comfort. With fewer than 500 models in production, the car comes with quilted leather seats.
