BMW iX, a new era
Thanks to BMW eDrive technology and electric all-wheel drive, the iX pairs maximum range with spectacular acceleration. A sustainable model in the SUV category.
The xDrive50 proposes maximum range of up to 629 km, the xDrive 40 up to 425 km. With two powerful electric motors, the model is characterized by frugal energy consumption not exceeding 23 kWh/100 km and extraordinary aerodynamics for its category. With 523 hp beneath the hood, the xDrive50 attains 0-100 km/h in only 4.6 seconds. 40 minutes suffice to fully recharge the battery on public charging stations. The iX also benefits from ultra-modern connectivity and the 5G standard.
An elegant long wheelbase and clear lines are set off by flush door handles, frameless doors, and windows tapering towards the rear. Inside, modernity and minimalism are the key words. Each control element is integrated into the central console. Functions and information share the two screens of 12.3” and 14.9’’ respectively. The back seats benefit from a lounge ambiance with heated seats and speakers in the head rests, while the panoramic Moonroof creates a feeling of spaciousness. Drive Assist Pro guarantees safety in critical or monotonous traffic conditions.
Production of the BMW iX just began at the beginning of July, in Lower Bavaria. Priced from 86,250 €.
