PORSCHE MISSION X, THE HYPERCAR OF THE FUTURE

Porsche is taking a visionary look at the future of the sports car. As proven by this lightweight all-electric hypercar with Le Mans-style doors, an extendable rear wing, and a high-performance electric motor.

The car’s glass dome and carbon exoskeleton instantly recall aircraft cockpits. And there is not a single superfluous gram of weight in the Mission X. Its distinctive long headlights reinforce the model’s personality, while the 2-seater’s interior focuses on the driver’s position.

The carbon fiber seat shells can be customized even for colour, and the curved displays are totally driver-orientated. Assymetrical design for the driver’s and passenger’s seats deliberately highlights the focus of this e-vehicle offering innovation and high performance. Its sculptural silhouette recalls car doors reminiscent of Le Mans. And the competitive spirit is clearly visible in their design : already seen on board the 917, they open upwards, attached to the A-pillar and the roof.

The adaptive rear wing ensures maximum downforce. Endowed with a tuned underbody and targeted airflow, the Mission X in fact offers extreme downforce for emotional thrust, well above that of the 911 GT3 RS. n
