Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series
Just 100 drivers and not one more will take to the road at the wheel of this particularly well-endowed vehicle ! Inspired by the Turbo S Executive, a model recognized for its elongated wheelbase and spacious rear, the Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series made its high-impact debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
An historic landmark : Porsche has delivered a 2-ton model for the very first time. Its Metallic Jet Black paintwork is enhanced by side panels in Metallic Chestnut Brown, hand-finished to offer the smoothest but most striking graduated blend one could possibly wish for. The interior echoes this elegance with, for example, upholstery in Agatha Chestnut Brown leather made by Poltrona Frau of Italy. The seats feature a central strip with micro-perforations ending with the Porsche crest embossed on the head-rest, while smooth black leather with chestnut brown stitching is used to great effect for the upper part of the doors. Yet more craftsmanship is demonstrated by dark walnut wood with blended paintwork in “Piano Finish Black”.
In this edition, back seat passengers feel that they actually count. As evidenced by the Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus, recently developed by the German manufacturer : a multimedia system with two 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreens with a camera, integrated DVD drive and Bluetooth headsets. The plaque bearing the logo and limited edition number on the dashboard trim reminds one, if need be, of the privilege one enjoys in driving this Panamera Exclusive Series. Fans of details will opt for the luggage, also designed in Poltrona Frau leather and bearing the Porsche logo.
The 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine providing 570 hp enables the car to leap from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and to post a top speed of 310 km/h. The 20-inch Sport Class wheels are clad in black, with contrasting brake calipers in yellow. Finally, while the starting-price is 253,967 € inc. VAT, Porsche invites its clients to take the principle of customization to an extreme.
