Thanks to its smooth, monochrome exoskeleton, nearly impenetrable, the vehicle benefits from a structural skin of Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless steel and ultra-strong polymer armour glass.
One aim is to eliminate dents, damage and long-term corrosion, though passenger protection is most important. With adaptive air suspension, the Cybertruck is the most powerful vehicle ever designed by Tesla. It offers lockable storage space and can benefit from a tonneau cover strong enough to stand on.
Inside, six comfortable seats, a 17-inch touch screen and brand new customised user interface. The drivetrain and low centre of gravity provide extraordinary control of traction and torque, 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, not forgetting range of 804 km.
First presented in 2019, the Cybertruck should appear in dealerships in 2023, though its price is still awaited. Fans of this avant-garde brand are naturally hoping the model will cross the Atlantic, which could be seen at the cost of adjustment to European safety standards. n
