Denise Vammerisse’s new shop in Nice has opted for originality. The carefully staged showroom gives a glimpse of the skills on offer. Furnishings, old books, trinkets, “chic bric-à-brac” which gives an idea of the excellent taste of this expert in deco. Her main speciality is, however, curtain-making, covers for armchairs and thus advice on fabrics. You’ll find all the big names, from Canovas to Pierre Frey, Designers’ Guild to Rubelli.
