Les fleurs d’Yves Saint Laurent

Les fleurs d’Yves Saint Laurent

In follow-up to the first chapter presented at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakesh, this exhibition is based on flowers, a major theme in the couturier's work. An endless source of inspiration, the world of flowers inspired the everyday life of Yves Saint Laurent who, with his partner Pierre Bergé, lived surrounded by them in all four seasons, in their apartments, second residences, the studios and offices of his "maison de couture". Throughout the exhibition, spectators discover iconic pieces and the designer's know-how when imparting life into his flowery creations. Including his emblematic flowers made of silk gazar, more authentic than nature, for the summer bride embodied by Laetitia Casta in 1999. Du 20 septembre 2024 au 4 mai 2025. Paris 16e. 5, avenue Marceau. www.museeyslparis.com
