Vitra has relaunched the legendary "Kangourou" armchair designed by Jean Prouvé in 1948, and whose popularity has continued to rise. Combining natural oak with metal legs and a seat covered in woven fabric in an expressive Marcoule blue shade perfected in the 1950's, this new offering has already sold out. In a limited edition of 150 pieces, it was produced in collaboration with the designer's daughter, Catherine Prouvé. A new series has been announced for September. www.vitra.com
