Even before opening its doors, “Le White 1921” was heralded as the future “must” address in Saint-Tropez ! It should be mentioned that, to endow their hotel with an uncommon bar, the owners of this new establishment on the Place des Lices, replacing the former “Maison Blanche”, had called on the services of Jean-Michel Wilmotte. “I have designed a real centerpiece for “Le White 1921”, a bar at an angle whose white glass façade is screen-printed and backlit,” says the architect. “A bar that extends into a “table d’hôtes” of generous size, creating a link between the garden and the hotel’s interior.” Place des Lices, Saint-Tropez (www.white1921.com and 04 94 45 50 50).
