Architecture de Collection : another view of real estate

Creating a dialogue between real estate and architecture… Such is the credo of this agency "outside the box" which has just successfully celebrated its 10th anniversary. Directed by Delphine Aboulker, Architecture de Collection consists of a team of architects and art historians, proposing a portfolio of remarkable properties all over France. Encounter…

The leading agency for sales of houses designed by architects in the 20th and 21st centuries, Architecture de Collection, exclusive partner in France of Architectureforsale.com, made a brilliant success of its appearance on the property market, and can pride itself, a decade later, on its impressive growth. Responsible for launching this unprecedented project, Delphine Aboulker comments : "At first, our public consisted of mature, demanding clients, most often fans or collectors of art. Today, we have a wider clientele which includes younger buyers, less wealthy but highly cultivated, motivated by the desire to live in a different kind of home". If the concept appeals and demand has become more diverse, it is because the agency's activity goes well beyond the so-called luxury market. "Our selection of properties is based on architectural criteria rather than prices," explains Delphine Aboulker. "In fact, we offer a very wide price bracket starting from 150,000 euros for homes signed by young architects, and attaining several million euros for houses designed by legendary architects such as Le Corbusier, Pierre Patout or Henri Sauvage. It is worth noting that a house designed by an architect is not necessarily more expensive than a Haussmann apartment, and that investing in this kind of property is always a good option, as it gains in value over the years. This is also true of apartments built from the 1950's to 1970's by Edouard Albert, Jean Ginsberg…" Driven by the desire to help towards the preservation of French heritage, sometimes little known or endangered, the agency has diversified its activities by participating in sales of properties with exceptional architecture, a prize for architecture, and architectural visits. An interest in modern and contemporary architecture that Delphine and her team share with an ever broader public, with a message which seems to have been heard loud and clear : "Do not deprive yourself of living in a work of art !".
