Breteuil Immobilier : further expansion
With 20 agencies stretching from Paris to the French west coast, in London, Lisbon and New York, Breteuil Immobilier can congratulate itself on impressive success. Created in 1998, the group is soon to open a new agency in Paris. Encounter with Arsene Colarossi, the group’s Operations Manager.
Covering desirable high-end addresses on both banks of the capital, Breteuil Immobilier has 13 agencies in Paris, soon to be joined by a 14th to open on Rue Saint-Dominique in the 7th arrondissement, an historic neighbourhood for the group which opened its first agency there over 20 years ago. Operating with no franchises in four different countries, the strength of Breteuil is above all its international and global customer file which can be activated in record time with unprecedented precision thanks to well-mastered digitalization : “We are backed by a team of 100 employees. Our presence in Paris is strong, our presence in Brittany, the Basque country and, soon, Normandy, offers an exceptional network of coastal resorts, while our agencies in London, New York and Lisbon create a bridge with our foreign clientele. Our clients are city-dwellers open to the world : Parisians, French ex-pats, foreigners, in a constant flow of movement (from New York or London to Paris and Lisbon, from London and Paris to the coast). Currently, and by way of example, our Parisian portfolio is mainly comprised of family properties from 90 to 200 m2 with 4 to 6 main rooms, on offer from 1.5 to 3.5 million euros.” On the subject of the Parisian market, Arsene Colarossi explains : “The last quarter of 2020 proved to be resilient. Despite cries of alarm and an anxious climate, the Parisian market remained very active. It is a market comprised of occupier-owners, making it much less volatile than others. Generally speaking and in all our locations, the pace of our normal work has been restored since the end of the first lockdown. The market may well be slightly less promising, but it is certainly not depressed. This effervescence can be explained notably by the return of post-Brexit ex-pats, or a search on the part of our clients for living conditions of higher quality. Only apartments with defects and properties of over 3 million euros are selling more slowly, though 3-bedroomed properties of 100 m2 are still taken by storm”.
