development phase but which insists on developing with teams who resemble its values,” adds Agency Manager Jean-Baptiste Josselin. “John Taylor is a company of tradition and excellence, specializing in luxury and ultra-luxury, and handling exceptional sales. In Bordeaux, our average sales price ranging from 1 to 5 million euros can attain 15 million for top-notch properties on the Bassin d’Arcachon.”
On the subject of the property market, the team explains : “There has been a break in real estate following the war in Ukraine which has also had an impact on the luxury sector, especially regarding the time required for decision-making. Buyers take longer to analyze in depth before signing on the dotted line. It is a much more reflective market in which the prices posted are subject to strong negotiation. Since 2017, prices had soared in Bordeaux, often becoming over-estimated. A readjustment was necessary and today clients are buying, but at the right price.
Some sellers find it hard to accept, but are penalized by seeing their property linger for a long time on the market. Despite this general context, we have completed several outstanding sales. The market has become highly demanding, leaving no margin for error, which requires real mastery and sound references in this category of properties. Our maturity in prestige real estate, our respective achievements and experiences, enable us to offer expertise which makes all the difference. It is our added value”.
