Founded 10 years ago in Marseille by Amandine and Sébastien Coquerel, Archik has since pursued its development in France from Paris to Toulouse via La Rochelle and Royan, introducing its successful concept to the Bassin d’Arcachon in February, 2024. “We opened the agency a year ago, right in the middle of the crisis, which made us approach real estate through a different prism. The crisis cleaned up a market in which prices had soared since the Covid epidemic, leaving properties overvalued and not finding any takers. Since then, the market has regained a certain level of coherency. The start of 2025 has been marked by positive signs with a calmer political context and lower interest rates. We are again seeing a balance between buyers and sellers, and adjustments to prices have given the market a boost.

We recently sold a town house of 180 m2 requiring renovation, in the neighbourhood of L’Aiguillon, priced at 625,000 €.” On the subject of the region Ce´dric Fourteau, Manager of Maison Archik, then adds : “The Bassin d’Arcachon is a prized address, marked by an appealing lifestyle and architectures in the plural. It is often associated with exceptional sales of properties ideally located at the water’s edge and non-correlated to the market, though it can hardly be summed up like that. It has a rich array of properties undergoing modernization. The image of Archik and its strong identity linked to architecture and the urban landscape leads us to select properties of character which stand out for their signature assets and encompass all typologies.”
