Marie-Hélène Lundgreen, Daniel Féau - Belles Demeures de France
“Résidences Immobilier perfectly embodies luxury and a certain art of living, worlds which correspond to our international clientele.”
Following her studies in Modern Languages that she completed in Oxford and an early career in the diplomatic service at the Belgian Embassy in Rome, Marie-Hélène Lundgreen was drawn by the world of real estate and joined the Groupe Daniel Féau.
“In 1997, I met Charles-Marie Jottras who presented me with the idea of extending the “Belles Demeures de France” label, then dedicated to the sale of historic châteaux, to luxury properties in Paris,” explains Marie-Hélène Lundgreen.
“My address book and the fact that I spoke five languages were decisive for this position, enabling me to enrich our offerings by presenting private mansions and luxurious apartments in Paris to an international clientele. “Belles Demeures de France” thus became “Belles Demeures de France - Fines Résidences” before joining the Christie’s International Real Estate network a few months later. This department, which has existed for the past 27 years, now has a team of 12, all with international profiles and substantial address books. Some of its members have been at my side for over 20 years in this service ! Unlike New York, London or Hong Kong, cities most frequently chosen for business or children’s education, Paris is, for foreign clients, a dream to which they treat themselves with the desire to benefit fully from its fine art of living. These clients already know Paris very well, they have their habits in the capital’s finest hotels and palaces. We present them with very high-end properties, often in turnkey condition, together with a full array of related services to meet all their requirements : notaries, tax lawyers, decorators...
“Belles Demeures de France - Fines Résidences” has allowed us to orchestrate the most successful sales in Paris and the Ile-de-France, such as that of a private mansion on the Left Bank, at 70 million euros, and a superb apartment on Quai Anatole France, priced at 52,000 € per sq.m in the midst of the financial crisis, not forgetting the Louis XIV château in Louveciennes, which sold for 275 million euros, a world record.”
