Encounter with Heathcliff Zingraf, the Group’s CEO.
A real family success story, that of a father and his son who brought a specific vision of real estate to life, the Michaël Zingraf Real Estate group confirms its rank as a leader with 18 agencies, a team of 80, and a wide array of services. “Trust, integrity, discretion and excellence comprise the four essential values on which the group is based,” confides Heathcliff Zingraf. “Together with our capacity to constantly renew ourselves, which has definitely contributed to our success.” Strength which enabled the group, despite a year marked by the pandemic, to maintain its high performance and post record sales volume in the summer and autumn of 2020. What about the first quarter of 2021 ? “So far, the crisis has only slightly undermined interest on the part of our clientele for top-notch second residences in the most highly-prized regions in France. Our European clients are still there, together with a French clientele with high purchasing power and a desire for safe investments in property. In this first quarter, we have in fact noticed a significant rise in the percentage of French buyers in all our agencies, who arrive with higher budgets than before and readily set their sights on properties worth 2.5 million euros. The exodus from Paris due to the crisis has also led a considerable number of clients to invest in the South of France and Deauville. The trend provoked by generalisation of teleworking has been a game-changer, slowing in its wake the momentum of the Parisian market, which has seen fewer sales of properties between 1.2 and 2 million euros in the majority of arrondissements. As for the South of France, even though restrictions prevent foreigners from travelling, the number of contacts has not declined in our agencies since the first lockdown, and has risen steadily since the start of this year. Since January, we have in fact chalked up some very substantial sales at prices over and above 10 million euros for affluent foreign clients.”
