MONGE PATRIMOINE : A THIRD AGENCY COMING SOON
Meeting with great success, the Agence Monge Patrimoine created in 2010 by Patricia Cariou treated itself to a new branch at the beginning of 2018 in the chic 6th arrondissement. Ensuring maximum visibility on the Left Bank of Paris where she deals with a French and international clientele, Patricia Cariou is now planning to open a third agency on the Right Bank…
"I really fell in love with the agency on Rue Monge, the oldest one in the neighbourhood," says Patricia Cariou. "I was delighted to acquire the premises in 2010 and perpetuate the activity while making it a point of honour to offer clients a high-quality welcome, close assistance and follow-up in each transaction, as well as precise estimates." Ideally located in the 5th arrondissement, this historic agency has since been renovated throughout in timeless, modern style by architect Arnaud Montigny (Colette concept store). It even treated itself to a little sister, in an excellent location close to Place Furstenberg in the 6th arrondissement. "This second agency reinforces our presence in the 5th, 6th and 7th arrondissements which comprise our main zone of activity, together with Le Marais and the 16th," explains Patricia Cariou. "In the 5th arrondissement, the clientele is very Parisian and family-oriented, it is a kind of timeless haven. Its historic and cultural riches are unique. You find very good schools here too, also true of the 16th. More sophisticated, the 6th has other charming attributes that appeal to foreign clients looking for a pied-à-terre. It is also the most expensive arrondissement in Paris with average prices ranging from 13,000 to 16,000 € per sq.m, but easily attaining 25,000 € per sq.m or more. In the 5th arrondissement, prices are lower, from 11,000 to 14,000 € per sq.m on average. Though enviable addresses near the Panthéon and Luxembourg are rare on the market, thus pushing prices higher." Patricia Cariou is confident about the coming year : "The market is very lively in Paris, prices are rising though interest rates remain low, demand is stong and foreign clients are making a visible comeback, particularly the English, Americans, Chinese, and also a good number of ex-pats. These are positive signs which have encouraged us to pursue our development with plans to open a third agency on the Right Bank…".
