Joseph Arida has made “Intuitu Personae” his signature, a Latin expression meaning “specifically for this person”. Add notions of discretion, confidentiality and trust as underlying factors, and you will have a good idea of Odgamm ! Located near L’Etoile, the agency specializes in sales of properties in desirable neighbourhoods in Paris, but also crosses the borders of France to offer properties in highly-prized regions of Europe. “Odgamm proposes properties from 500,000 to 50 million euros. We recently acted in an exclusive capacity to represent a buyer-client in the sale of a building of 2,000 m2 in the Saint-Germain neighbourhood.” A year ago, for even more efficiency, Joseph Arida set up an “apartment-hunter” department within his agency : “This new proposal meets genuine demand. It offers future buyers the ultimate in convenience, as we undertake to get in touch with different agencies to prepare a pertinent selection of properties meeting their needs perfectly : neighbourhood, surface area, layout…”. With regard to the market in Paris, Joseph Arida says : “It is a highly selective market in which buyers are prepared to pay high prices on condition that the property has close on zero defects. We can easily sell a property on Avenue George Mandel benefiting from a clear, sunny outlook at 20,000 € per sq.m, but with much more difficulty a property at this same address priced at 12,000 € per sq.m if it suffers from major defects such as poorly maintained communal premises, space-consuming layout… For quite some time now, the attractiveness of Paris has been confirmed. The capital has regained the favour of the world’s Happy Few, drawn by the unique charm of the City of Light.”

Joseph Arida owes his fondness for fine old stone to his training as an architect. He obtained his DESA certificate in architecture in Paris in 1985. After commencing his career with the Groupe Pelège, then moving to the USA where he obtained his diploma as an Estate Agent and experience with Foncia and Christie’s Great Estates, he founded his own agency in Paris in 2007.
