Saint Louis French Properties
Residences of charm, seafront villas, sublime properties, the Saint Louis French Properties agency has adopted the French art of living as its signature. Founded in Saintes in 2005 by Eddie and Sandrine Lalonnier, the agency was affiliated for six years to the Sotheby’s International Realty network before taking off and embracing its own brand in 2018. Over the past few months, Saint Louis French Properties has opened its doors to a new market in Bordeaux and on Cap Ferret.
Trust, attentiveness, follow-up and quality relationships are the core values that have made Saint Louis French Properties such a success. “We sell much more than a real estate project : our concept is to showcase the French art of living,” says Eddie Lalonnier. “Thanks to our 15 years of experience in the region’s property market, we offer assistance of quality and sound acquisitions.” Focusing on the top end of the market, the agency presents properties in a wide area in Charente and Charente Maritime encompassing towns like Cognac, Angoulême, Saintes and Royan, and asserting its presence in La Rochelle and on the Ile de Ré since 2018. “The region boasts magnificent houses dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, and we attract a clientele fond of these old residences offering very high potential.” On the strength of its reputation, Saint Louis French Properties has been extending its brand and expertise for the past few months to Bordeaux and Cap Ferret, planning to open an on-site agency over the medium term : “The city of Bordeaux offers genuine appeal and, thanks to theTGV, it is hardly an hour from Saintes. A new market is opening up for people in Bordeaux who will find houses here at competitive prices : as teleworking becomes more widespread, they will also discover many possibilities.” On the subject of the market, Eddie Lalonnier explains : “During the confinement, activity did not abate in the region : we received from 5 to 15 enquiries per day. We are covering a market which seems to be getting livelier with lots of buyers from Paris, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. The Covid-19 crisis has visibly boosted demand for second ressidences. We cannot yet benefit from hindsight, but the pace of visits is steady, even if the restriction on travelling up to 100 kilometres at most makes them impossible for some clients. Prices are stable and will remain so, a priori, as the market here is not fuelled by speculation”.
