Savills Riviera Estate arrives in Beaulieu
After Saint-Tropez, Valbonne, Cap d’Antibes, Nice, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Courchevel and Méribel, and just before Cannes, this British network operating from 650 offices in 70 countries is launching an agency in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, on one of the liveliest streets of this seaside resort once highly-prized by Russian and English aristocrats.
Alex Balkin describes the recipe for on-going development, starting with the choice of desirable residential towns and finely-tuned territorial networking. Not far from the Place du Marché, this new address is the second to be opened in the eastern part of the Alpes-Maritimes, following that of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat 17 years ago, making Savills Riviera Estate one of the undisputed leaders on this cape known for its lush vegetation.
The Beaulieu agency has a team of 10 experienced professionals, multilingual and multicultural. Most of them live on-site or were even born here, thus offering their clientele in-depth knowledge of the address, a blend of expertise and empathy. The aim is to cover the area between Nice and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin for high-end properties, but also the mid-market segment, ie. apartments priced from 1 to 4 million euros and villas from 2.5 to 10 million euros.
Many are fond of the lively town centre with its easy access, its train station, shops, yacht harbour, amenities and luxury hotels, the sandy beaches and the upper part of Beaulieu, including Boulevard Édouard VII with its villas enjoying unimpeded views of the Mediterranean. Not forgetting the architectural legacy of the “Belle Époque”, bearing witness to the presence of Europe’s aristocracy in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
An attribute shared by Beaulieu with Cap d’Ail. Residents of Monaco acquire second homes here, while foreigners set their sights on the town located between the capital of the French Riviera and the Principality. “2021 has been an exceptional year, undoubtedly fuelled by the effect of catching up,” says Alex Balkin. “Among our resolutions for 2022 : the opening of another agency in Cannes.”
