SEBASTIEN KUPERFIS, INSPIRING VALUES
Sébastien Kuperfis fell into real estate when he was very young. Junot is above all a family tale that began pretty much by chance in the ‘eighties. A tale that nourished his imagination as a child, and his ambition, until it became reality in the years 2000...
“I can’t tell you about myself without talking about my family,” says Sébastien Kuperfis straight away. He recalls the first steps taken in real estate by his grandfather and mother, the crisis of the 1990’s, stories about the profession that were told at home in the evenings, the name “Junot” chosen by his mother in reference to the avenue where she lived in Montmartre.
“When I was a child, I would set off with my backpack to distribute Junot flyers in buildings in Paris, made by my gandmother : they were very arts-and-crafts !” Following brilliant studies, a Master’s Degree in Finance and Taxation awarded by Paris Dauphine, and a DESS in Corporate Real Estate, Sébastien Kuperfis joined the American group CBRE, world leader in corporate real estate, then set off for London and residential real estate.
“These were formative experiences which introduced me to other models and fuelled my only real project : to develop my mother’s firm.” In 2007, he took up the challenge : “I developed Junot like a diligent father, with carefulness, and putting all our staff on the pay-roll. Right from the start, I adopted a long-term approach. When selling properties to private clients, we are dealing with a very human aspect and have a heavy responsibility because we play a role in the most important financial transactions in their lives. Placing the client in the centre and offering him irreproachable service, that’s real added value, and the focus to which I devote all my energy”.
