In September 2017, the launch of a third agency between La Closerie des Lilas and La Rotonde confirmed the success of Terrasses et Jardins in the capital’s central arrondissements. A year later, and on the dawn of its 20th anniversary, the agency is chalking up exponential growth among its French clients. Update with its founder, Benoit Vitu...

“We had been active on the west side of Paris since 1999, in Paris east since 2008, we just needed a more central agency. An opportunity presented itself, a strategic choice, there was no reason to hesitate. Twelve months later, the results prove we were right : 2018 has been a record year for us, a very good vintage,” explains Benoit Vitu. Now covering highly coveted arrondissements such as the 6th and 7th, this new branch has brought greater visibility to the agency, which also encompasses the 5th, 13th and 14th arrondissements, and draws a more affluent clientele. “The day we inaugurated Terrasses et Jardins Rive Gauche in Montparnasse, three people entrusted us with their properties ! This address enables us to attest to our presence in flagship areas on the Left Bank, and opens up new collaborations : it is an efficient additional work tool. We recently sold a very fine apartment of 60 m2 in Montparnasse benefiting from a garden of 108 m2, priced at 1,050,000 €.” With regard to the Parisian property market, Benoit Vitu adds : “For us, the climate has been extremely favourable in 2018 with activity on the rise in all our agencies. The market is still bouyant, the popularity of properties with terraces and/or gardens is being confirmed, and the end of the year seems to be guaranteeing this on-going enthusiasm for our stock of properties up for sale. With almost 20 years of experience on the clock, we can claim quite unpretentiously that our approach has won its spurs”.
