Villaret Immobilier, 20 years succes
Founded in January 1996 by brothers Vincent and François-Régis Moussion, this family-run agency is this year celebrating its 20th anniversary. Now joined by two other branches, the original agency at the heart of the Marais reflects the expertise and avant-garde personality of this duo previously working in contemporary art.
Designer furniture and original works of contemporary art ; within the walls of their agency in the Marais, one finds the signature of the Moussion brothers, motivated by a quest for esthetic qualities which extend to a selection of properties they see as rare gems. "It's a luxury that I and my brother have been fortunate enough to enjoy since we opened our first agency, and which explains the success of Villaret Immobilier," says François Régis Moussion. "When we select a property, we are looking for a strong identity, charm, unusual character, a certain soul, and we mainly focus on properties in the centre of Paris." After 20 years in the capital's real-estate market, this group of three agencies - one in the Marais, another in the Saint-Paul neighourhood, and the third around Square Trousseau in the 12th arrondissement -, benefits from an excellent reputation and has won the loyalty over two decades of a clientele both French and international. A vision of the profession and expertise which give the Moussion brothers and their team the ability to adapt when faced by new developments : "The property market has evolved significantly over the past 12 months due, in particular, to interest rates at record lows which have enabled many people to become home-owners and others to sell their apartments in order to acquire larger surface areas. Today, while the Parisian market is certainly not devoid of foreign buyers, a "grass-roots" French clientele clearly has the upper hand. Le Marais is as popular as ever, just like the 1st and 2nd arrondissements, with other emerging districts drawing their fans. In just a few months, for example, the 12th arrondissement, near the Aligre market, has become one of the capital's most magnetic addresses."
