This long-established group born on the Côte d’Azur, specializing in prestige real estate, and backed by an international network, recently extended its presence in Paris by opening two new agencies in prime locations : one on the Left Bank, on Boulevard Saint-Germain, the other in La Muette, at the heart of the 16th arrondissement.
On the occasion of its 160th anniversary, John Taylor is upgrading its graphic identity and communication with elegance and modernity. How does it see the prestige market at national level ?
“Following a lull, we are seeing a clear upturn in searches undertaken by our clients, reflected in sales volume which is higher in terms of quality, even though, in terms of quantity, we have not yet attained the levels of the post-pandemic years,” explains Gilles Tejedor.
“Prestige properties, ready to move in, are the ones which find takers quickly. The advantage of our brand’s positioning lies in the possibility of orchestrating several outsize sales per year, in France and abroad.” Gilles Tejedor, who joined the John Taylor agency in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat eight years ago as Manager, welcomes the firm’s dynamic development in which he plays an active role. “Intra-group partnerships are being strengthened. The teams of Artcurial (an international auction house) now act instinctively to recommend us to their clients when they are consulted, for example, for a heritage inventory. Generally speaking, artworks, beautiful cars, and fine furniture are all found in a house, yes ? This strategy is being pursued more actively, and we are organizing more and more shared events which meet with huge success.”
Other areas of development ? “We are consolidating Bordeaux and Corsica, and announce our arrival in the Principality of Andorra and the superb city of Marrakesh in the second half of this year.” In tribute to the group’s birthplace and to his first steps with John Taylor, Gilles Tejedor has decided to spotlight, for this anniversary edition, an exceptional estate on the Côte d’Azur, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, to be precise.
