NEW CEO FOR DANIEL FÉAU

Won over by this renowned company, a leader in the luxury property market in Paris which has preserved its family DNA for over 75 years, Eric Donnet has occupied the position of CEO for the past few weeks and shares with us his goals and view of the market.

54 year-old Eric Donnet has taken on a new challenge by accepting the role of CEO of the Daniel Féau group.

“The family DNA and talent of the teams of the Daniel Féau group are factors which convinced me to accept the position of CEO,” he explains. “I wanted to extend my experience in the field of sales and this opportunity to acquire a stake in this company was a decisive factor. My main goal is to ensure growth for the group, but also to develop new activities, especially those focusing on institutional clients and family offices.

On the subject of the Daniel Féau group and the Parisian market, Eric Donnet adds :

“The group dealt rather well with the very turbulent year of 2023, which led to a significant decline in sales volume and moderate price erosion on the property market. This unfavourable context has, however, only had a limited impact on the Daniel Féau group thanks to its positioning on the luxury market. Price corrections on certain properties have even encouraged more fluidity in 2024. Up until now, we are seeing a market in which the the balance of power between buyers and sellers has been reversed since last summer. Our Left Bank agencies were highly resilient in 2023, and the first quarter of 2024 has produced the first signs of progress. On the Right Bank, a family clientele is returning to acquisition, with renewed offerings and easier access to mortgages, thanks to interest rates that are stabilizing. As for our affluent French and foreign buyers, they are spared from the overall context. At the moment, we are seeing average sales prices for outstanding properties of over 200 m2 with terraces or gardens which still exceed 22,000 € per sq. metre. The sales volume attained by our group in 2023 passed the 1.2 billion euro mark, and we expect to achieve a sales volume of over 1.6 billion euros in 2024”.
